• Breakfast club opens from 7.45am daily
• Staff walk the children over to Rathoe National School for 9.00am.
• Reduced fees are available under the NCS scheme
• Our Afterschool opens from 2pm until 5.45pm daily and we cater for children from Junior infants to sixth class. Parents are entitled to reduced fees through the National Childcare Scheme (NCS).
• We collect children at 2pm and 3pm from Rathoe Primary school but children from other schools are also welcome to be dropped off to our service during these times. We operate the same yearly calendar as our local primary school.
• All the children eat together at snack time and once homework is completed and checked by staff the children are free to play outdoors or indoors with their friends.
• The Afterschool environment is designed to ensure that the children feel confident, happy and comfortable.
• It is a place where they are encouraged to be kind, respectful and helpful with one another and have opportunities to share their views and opinions about what matters to them.
• We respect the children’s choices and always involve them in deciding what activities they would like to do each day.
• Some of these activities include baking, board games, arts and crafts, outdoor games, books, jigsaws, dance and music .

  Camps:

• To support parents we also offer full day camps throughout the academic year.
• These camps include Halloween, Midterm, Easter and Summer from 9am-4pm.
• Our camps are open to all children attending any primary school throughout the surrounding area.
• Reduced fees for camps are also available through the National Childcare Scheme (NCS).
